A precision screwdriver was developed for a user who is technical, detail-oriented, and appreciates good design — someone who enjoys working in a well-organized space.
The goal was to break away from the bulky, traditional aesthetic that dominates the market and propose something cleaner, more compact, and functional, without compromising power or versatility.
From the start, the design focused on real user needs. It had to be comfortable to use, easy to store, and come with its own case. This case not only protects the tool but also keeps everything neatly organized: battery, nut driver bits, extension, adapter, and a removable precision bit tray. It also includes a second charging port so you can charge an extra battery right in the case, maximizing efficiency and space.
About the brand KØRA

KØRA is a brand created for this project to explore the design of precision power tools from a holistic perspective: form, function, and user experience.
The name comes from the combination of two concepts: “Kor,” which evokes the core or central focus of the work, and “Ra,” symbolizing energy and power.
Together, KØRA represents the blend of precision, strength, and thoughtful design, capturing the spirit and purpose of the tool.
Prism + Cylinder

The design process started with the exploration of basic geometric shapes. The main combination was a prism and a cylinder, aiming for a clean, simple composition that is easy to read visually.
This choice was not just about looks. The prism brings stability and gives the tool a solid resting surface, while the cylinder defines the grip area and creates a smooth transition toward the head.
The goal was to strike a balance between visual precision and ergonomic comfort, keeping the design clear and free of unnecessary details.
